TOPIC:- THE ALMIGHTY SPEAKS
TEXT:- 2 CHR. 7:14
MEMORY VERSE:- DUET 4:33 "Did every people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard and live ?"
AIM :- God speaks to his children anytime, any where for his own glory.
INTRODUCTION :- God speaks to people that are closer to him or who are willing to take decision from him as he directs. Almighty speaks to Moses severally, Because Moses harken to his voice and ready to obey. And he (God) has divers ways of speaking to his children, It could be through dream, vision, audible voice, his words and through the Holy spirits. etc
HOW DO ONE KNOW WHEN HE SPEAKS?
STEPS
(1) Through Inspiration of the Holy spirit - Job. 32:8, 2 Tim. 3:16
(2) Through the word of God - Jer. 1:4-6, 1 Sam 9:27, Heb. 4:12, 1 Pet 1:23.
(3) Through the word of wisdom - 2 Sam 14:20, 1 Kgs 3:28, 2 Chr 1:10 - 12, Prv.4:11.
(4) Through the word of knowledge - Ps 139:6, Prv. 1:7, Prv. 1:22, Isa. 11:2, Dan. 12:4
(5) Through gift of Prophecy - Isa. 1:24-31, Isa 2:2, Exo. 18:16-26, Zech. 12:10.
(6) Through the spirit of Discernment- Gen. 27:23, 2 Sam 14:17, Prv. 7:7, Heb.4:12, 1 Cor. 11:29.
(7) Through Dream - Gen 28:17, Dan.7:1, Judges. 7:13-15
(8) Through Vision - Num 24:5, Heb.2:19, Ezek 12:24, Hab.2:3.
(9) Through Divine Intervention - Rom 1:20, 2 Cor 10:4, 2 Pet 1:4.
MEDITATION: - Do you want God Almighty to speak to you? Gen. 12:1-4
DISCUSSION: - Mention (5) five things we can do for him (God) to speak to us?
Conclusion: - Let us do things in his way so that God can speak to us, even speak through us.
